Bingka Susu
I got two old recipes for Bingka Susu from a colleague, for my wife. Where she got it from her mom. Thanks a lot to Hjh Wizana.
BINGKA SUSU - Ver 1
BAHAN2-NYA:
1 chawan kastad
1/2 chawan tepong gandum
3 biji telor
1 chawan mentega atau majerin
1 chawan gula
1/2 tin susu manis
1/2 tin sus chair
1 chamcha teh vanilla
MEMBUAT-NYA:
Kachau kastad dengan ayer sejok, tumpahkan ayer panas (buat saperti kanji). Lepas itu sejokkan. Pukul mentega dan gula sampai kambang masokkan telor sa-biji2, tepong gandum dan kastad di-sejokkan, sus manis dan susu chair gaul rata2.
Alas achuan dengan kertas minyak, sapu mentega, tuang adunan ka-dalam-nya, bakar di-api sederhana. Apabila sejok boleh-lah di-masokkan ka-dalam peti sejok.

Bahan2-nya
10 biji telor
2 tin susu chair
1 tin susu manis
1 tin mentiga jangan di-habiskan
4 sudu makan gula
4 sudu makan tepung
1 sudu vanilla
Peraturan-nya
Mentiga di-kachau sama susu manis, telor di-kachau jangan kambang, kemudian semua-nya jadikan satu. Alas achuandengan kertas minyak. Kemudian di-bakar sampai masak dan sejok.

Jamaican gets a bank loan
This one is good. It takes a Jamaican to come up with this. Actually I received this from a friend.
A young Jamaican man walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. He tells the loan officer that he is going to Jamaica on a vacation for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.
The bank officer tells him that the bank will need some form of security for the loan, so the Jamaican man hands over the keys to a new BMW 740i. The car is parked on the street in front of the bank. The Jamaican produces the title and everything checks out. The loan officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan.
The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the Jamaican for using a $80,000 BMW as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then drives the BMW into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.
Two weeks later, the Jamaican man returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.
The loan officer says, "Sir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a successful business man. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?"
The Jamaican replies: "Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?"
The bank employees watch as he pulls out of the garage, windows down and sunroof open. The music was blasting from his car as he pulled away, "We run things, things no run we, everything we do, it done properly."

FAKE friends vs REAL friends
I receive this from a friend thru my e-mail. I would like to share this. It is about the difference between FAKE friends and REAL friends.
FAKE FRIENDS: Never ask for food.
REAL FRIENDS: Is the reason you have no food.
FAKE FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr / Mrs
REAL FRIENDS: Call your parents DAD/MOM
FAKE FRIENDS: Never seen you cry
REAL FRIENDS: Cry with you
FAKE FRIENDS: Borrow your stuff for a few days then give it back
REAL FRIENDS: Keep your stuff so long they forget it's yours
FAKE FRIENDS: Know a few things about you
REAL FRIENDS: Could write a book about you with direct quotes from you
FAKE FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that is what the crowd is doing
REAL FRIENDS: Will kick the whole crowds butt that left you
FAKE FRIENDS: Would knock on your front door
REAL FRIENDS: Walk right in and say 'I'M HOME!'
FAKE FRIENDS: Are for awhile
REAL FRIENDS: Are for life
FAKE FRIENDS: Will talk bad to the person who talks bad about you.
REAL FRIENDS: Will knock the person out that talked bad about you
